Light & Darkness

Bring your situations before the Lord.

We fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

The issues you are dealing with are not natural. There is a spiritual battle taking place and the prize, what is trying to be conquered, is your mind. The Lord did not give you a spirit of fear ( 2 Timothy 1:7) and all you need to do is run to Him for His name is a strong tower. (Proverbs18:10)

Everything I just said is scriptural. So what you need to be doing in moments of darkness is seeking out his word. Get the Bible app and start a daily plan. Meditate on the word of the Lord day and night ( Psalm 1:2, Joshua 1:8) That isn’t as scary as it sounds. I know it sounds intimidating, but it can literally be one part of one verse that resonates with your spirit that the Lord needs you to sit with.

Church is not here for you to get your weekly charge up but for you to learn how to connect with Him on your own and bring Him in your life. Until you realize that your blessing is locked into your relationship with God & not in your attending church religiously, you will continue to be unfulfilled. When you connect with God you move from being a miracle to blessing other people and performing miracles. When you become a Son of God, when you choose God it isn’t so that you secure your place in heaven— this isn’t the guest list at a club. But rather it is for you to bring an entire generation into his Kingdom. You life is not yours. It’s on loan to you, and you pay for it by doing God’s work.
